CapEmber ("we") builds software for financial advisers. This policy covers capember.com and the CapEmber account service. Each product (such as IFA Office) processes client data under its own agreement with your firm. Contact: info@capember.com.
Account data — your email address, a salted hash of your password (we never store the password itself), sign-in timestamps and email-verification state. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
Billing data — subscriptions are handled by Stripe; we store a Stripe customer reference, never card details. Lawful basis: performance of a contract. See Stripe's privacy policy.
Early-access list — if you register interest in an upcoming product we store your email address and the product name until launch or until you ask us to remove it. Lawful basis: consent.
Transactional email — verification and password-reset emails are sent via our email relay (Amazon SES, EU region).
Account data is stored with Cloudflare (D1, EU jurisdiction controls) and product data is hosted in London. We do not sell personal data, run advertising, or use third-party analytics cookies on this site.
Account data is kept while your account exists and deleted on request. Under UK GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion or portability of your data, and you can complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk). Email info@capember.com to exercise any right.
